Douglas Fast Net is a leading provider of high-speed fiber internet in Douglas, Lane and Coos County. We are looking for a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative(CSR). As a CSR, you will support DFN's customers in-person, over the phone, and via email or chat. You should apply if you have at least one year of previous customer service experience, especially in an office or sales setting, and enjoy working with people both internal and external to an organization.

POSITION PURPOSE: Provide effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the organization to ensure customer and business needs are met.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Greet customers as they enter the lobby area.
  • Answer multiline phone system with professional voice.
  • Process new customer orders using established policies and procedures, which includes researching available products and up-selling products and services.
  • Utilize sales techniques to effectively position products and services.
  • Process service orders, trouble tickets and general orders in SIS system.
  • Process payments and respond to occasional billing questions, ensuring cash drawer balances daily.
  • Maintain work queue ensuring customers and tasks are responded to timely.
  • Trouble-shoot simple technical issues with customers.
  • Assist Sales Director with advertisement campaigns.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
  • This job description covers the most crucial key and supplemental duties performed in the position, but does not include other occasional work, which may be similar, related to, or a logical assignment for the position. Other projects will be assigned as need.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Must be proficient in a variety of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with a variety of customers verbally as well as written forms.
  • Must be able to thrive in a busy, multifaceted office environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Must maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with all customers, internal departments, and vendors.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
