Guest Services Representative

Position Summary
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for welcoming and registering them, ensuring a pleasant stay, and managing their accounts upon departure. Key duties include:
- Welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor and providing exceptional service throughout their visit.
- Handling guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously.
- Managing reservations, including modifications and cancellations.
- Assisting with inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Qualifications & Experience
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant college coursework is a plus.
• Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to convey information clearly.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and make informed decisions.
• Capability to handle stressful situations with composure.
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic and financial data handling.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
• Greet and assist all guests in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Ensure regular attendance in accordance with company policies.
• Follow all operational procedures to promote a safe and efficient environment.
• Manage the telephone switchboard and ensure all performance standards are met.
• Process guest requests for information, mail, and messages promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel rates, packages, and special promotions.
• Understand and implement emergency procedures as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations.
