SUMMARY:

Responsible for receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping of product inventories, supplies, tools, parts, and equipment. Compile records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment. Keeps inventory storage shelves stocked and clean, and inventory placed in appropriate spaces. This position is to support the operations and to ensure that all transactions are completed as seamlessly as possible.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming goods to verify receipt of items against shipping notice.
  • Records and checks quantity and quality of goods received for conformity to purchase orders and specifications. Checks all materials for possible damage, leakage or theft.
  • Has the authority to inspect, accept, or reject goods received.
  • Checks each item delivered against receiving a copy of PO noting discrepancies. Forwards checked PO's to A/P after all items have been received in good condition.
  • Stores items in assigned location(s) in or around the warehouse/property. Delivers non-inventory items to individual casino departments.
  • Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer returns, rejections and credits. Properly inputs credit into the computer system. Submits proper documents and notification to accounts payable.
  • Compiles data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computers to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
  • Keeps back order file in established sequence and releases back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available.
  • Fills supply work orders or requisitions, including checking shelves for items, retrieving the items, asking for proper work order account number, entry of requisitions received and log items out of warehouse/centralized storage inventory using applicable computerized inventory system, verifying retrieved stock item with work order or requisition request, loading the stock items and making deliveries.
  • Prepares requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of restaurant experience preferred
  • Class II gaming license issued by the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission (must be able to pass a background check).
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license.
  • Current Washington State Food Worker Card
  • Valid Forklift certification.
