Position Overview:

The New Construction Equipment Sales & Marketing Manager (CESMM) is high-performing, self-motivated and works autonomously with a variety of customers and projects to determine requirements and provide conveyor quotes and conveyor sales in accordance with manufacturing and assembly methods consistent with Fabriweld Corporation and FSC Conveyor. The Manager will build strong relationships with customers and grow market share through product demos, and hands-on selling. The CESMM will also be responsible for assuring the system and product meets the customer’s specifications. The manager will meet customers’ needs and expectations, by working directly with the customer along with our production team. The sales manager also provides guidance and coordination for the conveyor division along with being responsible for preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends within the industry to identify new opportunities and adjust as necessary.

The candidate should also be able to provide job quotes by researching all aspects of production as well as related conveyor products to determine competitors’ pricing. They must prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends and quote jobs appropriately for competitive pricing and profitability.

Job Functions & Qualifications:

  • Meet with and determine customer requirements.
  • Comprehend mechanics, electrical, hydraulics, conveyor components, and safety per MSHA.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit timely expense reports.
  • Accurately track sales and customer base for follow-up to complete all transactions.
  • Other tasks as assigned/required.

Skills

  • Detailed sales tracking with follow-up experience.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • MS Office, Excel, MS Projects as well as familiarity with 2D/3D AutoCAD.
  • Standard ERP Systems.
  • Familiar with conveyor manufacturing, or construction equipment and assembly methods.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication including presentation abilities.

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to work in a shop floor environment, able to sit, stand, balance, stoop, kneel, walk, and use fingers to feel objects, tools, and controls.
  • Hours for position are dictated by the workload and at times require more than a typical 40-hour work week.
  • Travel required.

Education/Experience:

  • Previous experience mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/ and construction equipment experience is preferred.

Compensation:

  • This is a full-time, performance-based position; wages are commensurate with skills and experience.
  • Medical, vision, dental, life insurance, short term disability, 401K and profit-sharing plans are available after completion of 60 days of employment.
