Job Description

Provide the highest level of consistent and competitive fulfillment of goods and services to our Franchisees through authorized Distributors.  Ability to independently analyze information from multiple sources, and communicate and resolve complex business issues across the network.

Primary Accountabilities:

Inventory Analysis/Service Levels

  • Proactively analyze on hand inventory, forecasted demand and open orders to identify potential shortages and communicate to authorized Distributors and team.
  • Utilizing multiple information sources, develop analysis for product categories and seasonal activity.
  • Creative problem solving for inventory shortages, coverage for anticipated sales increases and support promotional activity.
  • Promotional Readiness: manage pipeline fulfillment, inventory levels and full life cycle of inventory to maintain highest service levels with minimal obsolete inventory.
  • Develop relationships with Distributor Account Executives and effectively communicate inventory needs and requirements, including transfers of inventory between facilities and companies.

Distributor Analysis

  • Utilizing the Dairy Queen and 3rd party inventory tracking tools, provide daily analysis of specific Limited Time Offer (LTO) products.
  • Analyze and communicate LTO product forecasts to each Authorized Distributor within the assigned distribution region and monitor distributor purchase orders to ensure appropriate order quantities and timing of product arrival at the distributor.
  • Coordinate supply chain activities with responsible Buyer and Supply Chain Services for optimum inventory availability.
  • Participate in weekly conference calls with all authorized distribution centers

One-Call/CRM Management

  • Independently manage and resolve One Call activity – develop reports and trend analysis to support product and service levels.
  • Support Operators to quickly identify and provide timely resolution of incidents. Act as mediator to resolve disputed incidents.

Additional Administrative Responsibilities

  • Support other internal ADQ staff with data collection, analysis, and other responsibilities as necessary and requested.
  • Actively support ADQ product withdrawal/recall process as needed. This may include but is not exclusive to: direct communication to affected warehouses, collecting product information related to the withdrawal/recall.

 

 

Qualifications

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Operations, preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in inventory planning, forecasting to technical customer service areas or specific college curriculum with demonstrated ability.
  • Intermediate Excel and Data modeling skills, required.
  • Experience preparing reports and presenting business data in Microsoft applications and Arrowstream, preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to exercise tact and patience in all situations.
  • Effectively solves problems with others.  Involves others in matters that impact them. Works towards cross-functional “win-win” solutions.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple tasks and requests simultaneously, within an intense, deadline-driven environment. Well organized with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Work Environment

Most positions located out of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 2 collaboration days a week.  Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs.  Positions will be identified as “remote eligible” when consideration will be given to candidates outside of drivable distance to our Bloomington office.
