Job Summary:

Basic Engineering Concepts & Technologies, Inc. (BecTech) is a Small Business Program Management and Engineering Services provider to Department of Defense (DoD) Agencies. BecTech is seeking professional candidates to fill the position of full-time Acquisition Manager in Crystal City, VA.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily program, analytical, and acquisition management support. Provide detail-oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies.
  • Facilitate the development and coordination of regular acquisition status review meetings.
  • Assist in the creation of acquisition documentation for major program milestones such as Milestone B, C, FRP, etc. in accordance with the DoDD 5000.01 "The Defense Acquisition System".
  • Prepare and review acquisition-related program documentation, such as Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Program Baselines, Justification and Approvals (J&A), Source Selection Plans, Determinations & Findings and Acquisition Strategies for approval by the Government.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of an acquisition workflow process using tools such as Microsoft Planner.
  • Manage workflow for acquisition requirements using tools such as Microsoft Planner.
  • Develop briefings for higher leadership pertaining to Acquisition Milestone requirements.
  • Various administrative tasks

Required Education/Experience:

  • Requires minimum of 15 years of related professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work within a team.
  • Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to obtain and retain a security clearance.

ADA SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent period of prolonged sitting may be required.
  • Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel: Less than 5% expected
