WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Client Leadership and Relationship Management:
    1. Serve as the primary account lead for your clients, ensuring their strategic objectives are met, leveraging insights and experience to support leadership and drive business forward.
    2. Develop and maintain strong, strategic, and trusting relationships with key client stakeholders.
    3. Oversee the planning and execution of campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives while delivering against timelines and budgets.
    4. Regularly meet with clients to present updates, gather feedback, and provide strategic counsel.
    5. Communicate clearly and regularly, managing expectations, highlighting successes, and premeditating or mitigating issues as they arise.
    6. Regularly travel into the market to ensure quality execution while representing TEAM brand and teams.
    7. Liaise and compliment client relationship with Program Director (RJR)
  • Business Growth and Development:
    1. Identify opportunities to expand the RJR account through innovative campaigns and upsell services, aiming for 15% growth year over year.
    2. Contribute to new business pitches, including proposal development and presentation delivery—a crucial player in closing new business for experiential programs.
    3. Attend client meetings and events as required and leverage the network as a seasoned leader to contribute to new business proposals.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    1. Write or collaborate on program briefs that inspire the team. Bring a creative and insightful approach to strategic and creative brainstorming.
    2. Provide strategic direction and support to ensure successful campaign execution with remote teams of up to 50 people.
    3. Support the Program Director and field team, offering perspectives and insights from a brand or client perspective.
  • Campaign Execution and Oversight:
    1. Oversee the execution of experiential marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
    2. Manage and own the logistics surrounding a full 360-degree campaign creation, including supporting creative, production, and project management needs.
    3. Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
    4. Collaborate with creative, production, and logistics teams to deliver high-quality experiences.
    5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during campaign execution in order to achieve the most optimal program for clients.
    6. Establish ideal HR, Finance, and IT cross-functional working procedures and relationships that serve the needs of corporate teams.
    7. Perform and lead retroactive reviews of campaigns with internal and external stakeholders, establishing a process for incorporating feedback and ensuring continuous learning and growth.
  • Financial Management:
    1. Develop and manage budgets for RJR campaigns that are both competitive and realistic.
    2. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
    3. Provide accurate financial forecasts and reports to senior leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in account management or a similar role, with a focus on experiential marketing and production oversight. An understanding of field execution teams is desirable.
  • Comfortability with the nicotine space is required.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing key client accounts.
  • Strong business development skills, with experience in pitching and winning new business.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Ability to travel as required for on-site activations.
