Job Description:

Provide General Human Resources Administrative duties related to all functions of HR activities. Provide advice, assistance, and follow-up to both HR Leader and employees regarding company policies, procedures and documentation.
                                            
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Investigate and provide solutions of employee complaints and suggestions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee relations cases and files.
  • Coach and guide Managers/Supervisors on company policies and Progressive Discipline process.
  • Represent company in Texas workforce unemployment hearings.
  • Develop and implement initiative, programs, and practices, which promote positive employee relations.
  • Design and deliver HR related training courses as well as coordinate and maintain training records for the site.
  • Provide administrative support to training related functions, including administrative duties for Training Learning Management System.
  • Create and conduct employee on-boarding process to ensure readiness of new hire requirements.
  • Provide internal communications and update forms and policies on company intranet.
  • Collaborate with hiring manager to understand the scope of the positions and requirements, including updating job descriptions.
  • Manage a medium to high volume of requisitions ranging from entry-level, professional, and leadership roles.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment progress reports, including number of open requisitions and status of current candidates.
  • Conduct all first round phone interviews and coordinate interviews.
  • Maintain and track all candidate pool.
  • Responsible for effective utilization of current or new recruitment methods.
  • Post positions on job boards and niche professional sites.
  • Planning and execution of employee referral program and external recruiting events.
  • Increase additional pipelines of resources through creative recruitment solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of EEOC, FLSA, and FMLA.
  • Proven ability to function independently and multi-task
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
  • Must have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment
  • Possess high energy and initiatives
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a plus
  • Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) is a plus


Education and Experience:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources related field is preferred
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Professional /Technical positions’ recruitment is required
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Employee Relation is required
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Employee Training is required
  • Previous HR Generalist experience is a plus
  • HR Certification is a plus
