Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary:

The Millard Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing direct HR support to our US staff, as well as working closely with corporate counterparts to ensure continuity across all lines of human resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct human resource support to U.S. staff, including RFPs, requests for updates and changes in employee information, leave of absence requests, international travel requests, employee relations issues, and employee and management escalations.
  • Oversee maintenance of building and office areas, including ordering of supplies, scheduling of maintenance, and managing overall vendor relations.
  • Operate as an office point of contact supporting day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain office and building areas to include ordering of maintenance and general supplies.
  • Oversee vendors and contractors for assigned projects.
  • Track work orders for quality assurance and adherence to service.
  • Monitor daily building operations of all systems, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and general safety.
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies.
  • Review and submit payroll as required.
  • Maintain employees register in Insperity payroll and timekeeping.
  • Process employee changes to payroll and timesheets.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Maintain employment records, relating to hiring, termination, leave, transfers or promotion.
  • Coordinate with Insperity on annual certification reporting.
  • Support and assist management with employee relations issues.
  • Review and update Employee handbook, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain company communications to assist with facilitation, participation and employee engagements and support Site Lead with communications and distribution.
  • Coordinate and enhance employee engagement efforts, local office luncheons, employee gatherings.

Requirements:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or other relevant fields.
  • Preferred: 5 years' experience in a HR support role.
  • Preferred: Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits.
  • Knowledge of labor relations and negotiations and personnel information systems.
  • Strong leadership, organization and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities.
  • Ability to manage difficult situations.
  • Ability to work well as a team.
