We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting the inventory management process, and ensuring that all inventory-related tasks are completed efficiently. This position is essential to our operations, as you will help ensure that our products are available when needed, contributing to the smooth running of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring stock availability and minimizing overstock or shortages.
  • Perform regular inventory counts, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Update and manage inventory records in our inventory management system.
  • Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing and warehouse teams to coordinate inventory movements.
  • Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or issues.
  • Prepare and maintain inventory reports for management review.
  • Support the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Assist with other warehouse and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required (up to 50 lbs).
