Job Title: Warehouse Inventory Control Coordinator

Join SCUSA Saputo Cheese USA Inc. as a Warehouse Inventory Control Coordinator and play a key role in optimizing our cheese network in North America.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to maintain accurate inventory counts and communicate inventory needs and status to the warehouse and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.
  • Perform physical inventory count (cycle count) and reconcile inventory daily.
  • Assist in developing solutions to shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Compile, verify, and report periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in customer escalations as related to inventory.
  • Assist in compiling data related to special projects, as requested by supervisor.
  • Apply and ensure compliance with inventory processes and procedures.
  • Effectively and promptly communicate (both verbally and electronically) all applicable inventory concerns, special considerations, and supervisor.
  • Support internal/external audits.
  • Provide back-up support for Shipping/Receiving clerk when necessary.
  • Ensure that all system transactions are accurately and timely to reflect correct inventory position at any time. This includes shipments, resupply inventory, donations, product loss, and damage.
  • Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics and actively apply the Saputo Values.
  • Work together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 2-year degree in logistics or inventory management, preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills with advanced experience with word processing, spreadsheet applications, and specialized inventory control software programs (WMS), SAP preferred.
  • Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as inventory reports, operating procedures to ensure inventory is audited and accurate.
