Purchasing and Inventory Control Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing and Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team at Amcor plc. This role will be responsible for monitoring and directing storeroom activities to ensure that parts and supplies are available when needed. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with internal customers to resolve issues and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and direct storeroom activities to ensure timely ordering and receiving of parts and supplies
- Verify that the SAP system contains accurate parts information
- Ensure that storerooms are organized and inventory records are accurate
- Act as the primary contact for storeroom activities to communicate information and assist in problem-solving
- Participate in and ensure compliance with ProcurePlus projects and programs to maximize financial savings
- AA, AS, or AAS degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field
- Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with MRP and SAP
- Excellent organization and time management skills, with good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required
