Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:
The Stocktaker is a critical role within our Inventory Control team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform weekly cycle counts to verify inventory levels and identify discrepancies
- Count and verify merchandise on the warehouse floor, comparing it to information in our database
- Service customers by assisting with product selection and retrieval
- Research and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and database records
- Operate a Scissor Lift as needed to access high shelves
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external customers
Requirements:
- Excellent math skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with proprietary systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Work Environment:
The Stocktaker will work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and exposure to industrial vehicles. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is required.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $15.76.
