Sonoran Roots is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team in the role of Retail Inventory Manager. This is a full-time, exempt salaried position, Monday - Friday, with additional days and hours worked as needed.
The Retail Inventory Manager is responsible for daily oversight of the retail Inventory department, the movement of product on site, and supervising the Inventory Associates that help upkeep the flow of operations. This includes comprehension of our product software and tracking of any received products, movement of product to the sales floor, and how sales affects these totals, within the software. The Retail Inventory Manager should uphold a level of professionalism, a willingness to learn new processes, and be thorough in communicating the supply needs of the business.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
- Assist in developing metrics for various tracking and reporting
- Oversee daily audits and monthly reconciliations for their designated facility
- Update internal databases with relevant inventory levels
- Communicate variances to Leadership and make the necessary systematic adjustments
- Uphold all Inventory policies and procedures with a heavy emphasis on accuracy and compliance
- Maintain compliant records of all COAs, Trip Log Manifests, and generated waste on site
- Effectively manage the Inventory Associates and daily required tasks
- Maintain optimal organization and cleanliness of all inventory processing and storage areas
- Plan merchandising on the sales floor with regards to restocking and new incoming products
- Ensure accurate record-keeping, execution of operational tasks, and inventory control
- Consistently remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for the industry

PAY AND BENEFITS:
- $45,000 annual salary, with a performance review and potential pay increase after 90 days.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Required):
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card.
- Ability to stay focused on tasks and meet productivity goals.
- Attention to detail and ability and willingness to follow instructions.
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
- Reliable attendance and communication - show up to work when you say you will, and do what you say you are going to do.
- Quick learner, and willing to be coachable and flexible with work tasks.
- Criminal background check will be performed; most marijuana-related crimes will not negatively impact an application.
- Reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (Preferred):
- Two (2) or more years of retail management experience.
- Knowledge of effective marketing strategies to promote products and attract customers.
- Experience in conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to employees.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal).
