The Inventory Management Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt of inventory, while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage inventory levels, verify vendor invoices, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and rotating stock
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, including receipts, shipments, and stock levels
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
The Inventory Management Specialist may be required to stand, sit, lift, and stock items weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as push and pull equipment. The position also requires keyboarding, telephone use, and walking.
