JOB TITLE: Customer Service Specialist

STATUS: Part-Time; Monday - Wednesday, 4:00 pm - 7:15 pm & Thursday, 3:00-6:45p

REPORTS TO: Manager of Aquatics

JOB SUMMARY:

The role of the Customer Service Specialist is to serve as CP's point-of-contact for all pool patrons, both in person and on the phone. The Customer Service Specialist will provide exceptional care and customer service to all individuals and clients that are affiliated with the agency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  1. Anwer incoming calls and utilize software to remotely unlock door for scheduled clients.
  2. Greet all clients entering the Pool Area.
  3. Utilize software specific to Aquatics, collect payments and check-in clients for Aquatic offerings
  4. Answer all incoming phone calls and assist callers by gathering pertinent information while maintaining a pleasant and tactful disposition. Will transfer calls and take messages as deemed necessary.
  5. Actively listen to needs and provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers, as well as exhibit a professional image at all times.
  6. Complete closing procedures and end of shift duties.
  7. Adhere to the agency safety policies and procedures.
  8. All other duties as assigned by the Manager of Aquatics.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. High School diploma or equivalency preferred.
  2. Ability to operate office equipment including computers, printers, faxes, and copiers.
  3. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to be patient with others and foster cooperative and courteous working relationships.
  4. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Must be dependable with ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Sensitivity to confidential matters.
  8. Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  9. Lifeguard / CPR Certification a plus.
