*The **Business Customer Care Specialist** supports customers within our Enterprise, ILEC, IT Services, and Business Telephone Service divisions. Efficiently address all customer inquires in a courteous and expedient manner. Provides exceptional customer service to all prospective and current customers telephone, written or face-to-face interactions in an effort to build long-term relationships. Has the ability to open, dispatch and follow up on trouble tickets. Ability to review a sales order, dispatch to appropriate work groups and be a point of contact for all inquires regarding the progress of the order. Must be able to accurately enter data in the billing system, respond to billing inquires and make appropriate adjustments for customers. Work to increase revenue through sale of additional features and products. Attention to detail and accuracy are needed for our fast-paced, ever changing work environment. Requires the ability to work well within a team environment and be goal orientated.*

**Responsibilities & Duties:**

1. Perform proactive customer service activities including: responding to customers phone and written inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.

2. Uses each interaction with a customer as a proactive opportunity to gain the customers long-term loyalty and financial commitment to Nsight Telservices through building strong, personalized relationships with our customer base.

3. Understand the escalating procedures and escalate trouble ticket and service order issues to management when warranted.

4. Review sales orders and determine what steps are needed to provision the request. Accept, create and process orders from established customers. Responsible for processing orders to and from other carriers, updating 911, CNAM, directory and voice mail accurately. May work with mechanized systems in porting numbers. Distribute work orders to other Nsight work groups (switch, UNE, fiber tech, engineering, networking, IT services, business telephone services, and plant) Will work closely with these groups to ensure orders are processing in timely manner.

5. Adopt new processes and procedures as deemed necessary by leadership.

6. Ability to process payments.

7. Responsible for the coordination and customer contact regarding IT recurring services

8. Accurately maintains updated notes and progress in Business Sales Tracker and iVue

9. Process and distribute special reports as assigned or requested.

10. Performs additional related duties as requested or required.

**Requirements:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or equivalent preferred.

* In addition, prefer at least three years of experience in customer service or the telecommunication field.
