Global Key Account Manager


We have an exciting opportunity for a leader who has a proven track record of creating and nurturing strong relationships with Tier 1 customers, who are multi-national and multi-disciplinary. The ideal candidate will have the ability to influence at every level, from plant to executive, providing strategic leadership across the enterprise driving incremental growth and an exceptional customer experience with our largest customers.


This will give you an opportunity to be close to the impact to the decisions of the organization. This company avoids a lot of red tape, and are able to make quick decisions. They are in a state of acceleration, driving both growth & change. They are still building roles and responsibilities. This opportunity gives you the chance to be apart of setting guidelines and helping to create the rules. Unlike many other organizations, you will have access to all levels within this organization, including access to the board members. You will have the ability to speak with top levels of leadership within the client accounts and build those relationships.


OBJECTIVES:

  • Work collaboratively with businesses to create account specific multi-year growth strategies enterprise wide
  • Develop multi-year growth targets by account, including sales, margin and market share growth aligned agreed upon with business unit owners
  • Create business standards and processes to align BUs and their stakeholders, driving both internal and external success
  • Utilize and develop existing tools to support strategic initiatives
  • Initiate and negotiate Master Service Agreements in-line with enterprise goals
  • Create deep rooted customer relationship ensuring CPMs status as a strategic partner to key accounts
  • Measure and manage KPIs to achieve target
  • Deliver and exceed on growth targets
  • Be key interface and escalation for CPM at the corporate level
  • Support BU account managers to deliver on growth commitments
  • Build, manage, and continue to grow relationships with key customers to include, when needed CPM executives
  • Create an environment of technical partnership, including regular meetings with key technical stakeholders at both customers and CPM


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a clear and compelling strategy for key account growth
  • Ensure growth initiatives are documented through the Strategic Planning (STRAP) process and sufficiently resourced for success
  • Collaborate with teams at each BU to ensure consistency of customer experience at all levels
  • Support commercial teams in sales excellence and managing the sales process to completion
  • Utilize tools to manage teams (CRM & FSM)
  • Create enterprise level key account budgets annually
  • Deliver Voice of the Customer to product teams internally
  • Ensure CPM product roadmaps are in-line with customer needs and future growth
  • Ensure CPM is adhering to customer specific requirements where needed
  • Create enterprise level understanding and adherence to MSAs


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five to seven years of experience in a similar role designing and developing strong customer relationships at all levels of our customers organizations
  • Proven leadership in managing indirect teams to achieve a common goal
  • Understanding of core business processes and their associated technical solutions
  • An innovative and disruptive mindset, constantly looking forward
  • Proven skills for influencing and collaborating with coworkers
  • Advanced degree in business, technology, or engineering
  • Experience working with and strong relationships with large multi-nationals in our selling segments.
