How will you make an impact in this role?

The Benefits & Compensation Manager will manage the design, implementation, communication, administration, and compliance aspects of Accertify’s health, welfare, and compensation programs for our global teams. The individual in this role will partner with senior management to ensure that compensation and benefits programs are rewarding and competitive by creating and maintaining best-in-class global processes, programs, systems, and capabilities.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute a competitive, end-to-end Global Benefits strategy that aligns with Accertify’s overall business strategy and talent agenda.
  • Work closely with the Global Payroll Team to ensure effective implementation and effectiveness of total rewards programs.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommend changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
  • Serve as the HR resource for the organization’s compensation and benefits plans and work with vendors to answer employee questions and issues as they arise.
  • Provide day-to-day administration and strategic vision for employee programs and processes, including but not limited to health and welfare programs, employee leaves and return to work processes, and retirement plan administration. Collaborate with payroll team on compensation and tax administration.
  • Provide subject-matter-expertise on industry best practices and lead effective, competitive, and fair total rewards programs, ensuring market consistency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resource management. Identify trends that could affect organizational objectives and/or operational resources.
  • Interpret appropriate laws and policies and advise management, employees, and retirees accordingly.
  • Work closely with finance and HR partners to create/maintain an organization-wide base salary structure by analyzing roles and levels against benchmarks and aligning them with a Total Rewards philosophy.
  • Lead and manage the organization’s annual merit and incentive planning cycle.
  • Partner with Finance on the salary planning process for merit, market pay adjustments, bonus, and promotional pay changes.
  • Partner with the HR team & external consultants on annual benefits, open enrollment process, and employee communications.
  • Ensure that the administration of various compensation programs complies with established guidelines, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with preferably 6+ years of experience in analyzing, strategically designing, and administrating global benefit and compensation programs.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable state and federal laws and regulations governing compensation, benefits, and employment.
  • Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with large volume and diverse global benefit programs.
  • Solid analytical abilities specific to the employee benefits program.
  • Compliance and operations knowledge across all benefit programs, including health, welfare, and retirement.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS-Payroll integrated systems. Familiarity with ADP is a plus.
Additional Details:
  • This role will be located at our Accertify HQ in Itasca, IL.  This is a hybrid role (3 days in office)
  • Visa Sponsorship: employment eligibility to work for Accertify in the U.S. is required, as Accertify will not pursue Visa sponsorship for this position.
