Regional Sales Manager-Press Room Equipment Company

Location: Springfield, MO

Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales by discussing and defining projects with customers and PRE Engineering staff.
  • Visit prospective customers in the field to discuss projects when needed.
  • Maintain positive business relationships with customers to resolve any problems or issues to ensure continued business.
  • Direct and manage any issues involving quality, training, or replacement parts.
  • Work with Management on pricing of products. PRE products need to balance an attractive profit margin, while still being competitive in the market.
  • Work with Marketing Management on Quote Formats, Manuals, and Marketing literature.
  • Attend Trade Shows/Conventions.
  • Provide sales reports and forecasts to Management.
  • Assist in order entry by providing correct information and documentation of quotes, purchase orders, and any other related information.
  • Update customers on order status. Provide photos and video updates of orders.
  • Follow up on equipment after shipment to ensure a successful sale.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role.
  • Coil processing experience: metal stamping, coil steel supplier
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Power Point.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Fast learner and passion for sales.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
  • Enjoys meeting and engaging with people.
