The Contract Fuel Sales Administrator and Analyst role is a hybrid position intended to bridge the gap between operations and sales. It includes various administrative duties focused on the seamless operation of the Contract Fuel Sales Program with a focus on Avfuel's Non-Branded FBO (Fixed Base Operator) partners. These administrative duties will pertain to ensuring accurate pricing, processing, and payback items for stable use of the program for FBOs, operators, and internal teams. Analyst duties require self-motivation and strategic thinking to best utilize the data available to Avfuel. Strong communication and presentation skills are a necessity for this aspect of the position as any conclusion is only as meaningful as can be conveyed.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Review cost updates received from FBOs including tax, fee, and tier changes.
  • Assist with various Contract Fuel staff data requests as needed.
  • Perform capture analyses for Contract Fuel Program.
  • Maintain General Aviation airport rankings.
  • Determine opportunities to improve Contract Fuel availability at airport and FBO level.
  • FBO setup and onboarding, which includes coordinating internal setup, handling merchant arrangements and routing through various departments.
  • Serve as point of contact for dealers to assist with issues regarding contract fuel availability.
  • Reconcile occasional billing discrepancies with FBOs.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Intermediate Excel Skills; including but not limited to Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Conditional Formatting, IF/And Statements.
  • Creation of graphs and charts as visual aids when necessary
  • Strong Analytical Skills: candidate must be able to independently compile data from multiple internal and industry sources to give satisfactory explanation of insights in written and verbal forms.
  • Strong Communication Skills: professional and clear communication is needed when interacting with internal teams and customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as a whole
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access is a plus.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or equivalent education/experience.
  • Aviation background preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
