Creative Community Services (CCS) has been improving the quality of life for children, teens and adults with developmental disabilities and mental health needs, and their families, for over 30 years. CCS is seeking a dynamic new team member who shares this mission to join our team. 

Creative Community Services looking for an administrative assistant to join our team in our Norcross office. This person will work to support the agency. 

The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.

Nature of Work

The Program Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of complex, responsible, and confidential secretarial and administrative duties, requiring knowledge of organizational and programs procedures. Performs related work as required. This position requires some physical functions that are considered essential to the satisfactory performance of the outlined job responsibilities, i.e., sitting, standing, walking, speaking, and hearing. The Administrative Assistant must be able to serve as a positive role model for the individuals, staff and agency. The Administrative Assistant is supervised by the HR Liaison and Communications Specialist.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Must be tactful and courteous.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Reports to office Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00p.m.
  • Required proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Develops respectful relationships with others.
  • Tracks, records, and files training certificates for agency.
  • Collects quarterly PQI data and presents findings to program leadership.
  • Takes minutes during monthly meetings.
  • Assists Finance and other departments across agency with physical and electronic filing and tracking data.
  • Performs internal audits and documents results for compliance.
  • Provides accurate, pertinent, and timely information.
  • Prepares and edits correspondence, communications, reports, agendas, and other documents via utilization of the appropriate office 365 tools.
  • Performs various administrative tasks and special projects, as required, and assigned.
  • Assists with coverage for receptionist for lunch, breaks and time off.
  • Assists program staff with needs that arise.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
