Responsibilities
  • Allocate 75% of time to kitchen duties and 25% to office tasks, optimizing productivity.
  • Recruit, coach, and evaluate staff, ensuring their development and performance.
  • Supervise production to maintain recipe adherence, consistency, and quality.
  • Open kitchen daily, overseeing production activities.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring efficient workflow and task prioritization.
  • Ensure staff efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead the team during production, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Manage timely ingredient procurement to avoid production delays.
  • Ensure all food meets quality standards within specified timeframes.
  • Maintain equipment inventory and storage standards.
  • Enforce strict sanitation guidelines in compliance with regulations.
  • Liaise with management regarding performance and operational needs.
  • Attend all company meetings and contribute to discussions.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility.
  • Adhere to company policies, including record-keeping and safety protocols.
  • Identify opportunities for operational enhancement.
  • Additional duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
  • 3-5 years of large-scale food service experience
  • 2 years of experience in large-scale food production
  • Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and quality monitoring
  • Strong organizational abilities and excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer)
  • Familiarity with HACCP and USDA guidelines
  • Physical capability for kitchen duties
  • Flexible and adaptable for varied work schedules

Schedule: Day Shift (Hours/Days may vary based on clients' needs)
Compensation: $24.00 - $26.00 Hourly

We offer employees weekly paychecks (direct deposit), and upon eligibility we offer health insurance (Kaiser), accrued paid sick time (Oregon Paid Sick Leave), and a retirement option (OregonSaves).
