At Precision Castparts Corp, we are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe manufacture of company products, ensuring quality and productivity requirements are met, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise hourly employees in the production process, ensuring adherence to process control procedures and quality control instructions.
- Plan, organize, and supervise shift operations to meet production schedules and requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve departmental efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and morale.
- Ensure adequate staffing exists to meet required production schedules and maintain employee attendance.
- Conduct formal performance appraisals, recommend pay increases, transfers, and promotions, and resolve grievances.
- Interview and hire qualified candidates in accordance with state and federal laws.
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus college-level courses or equivalent training in manufacturing, accounting, mathematics, and statistics.
- Two to five years' experience in related production operations, with good ability to facilitate team problem solving and communicate orally and in writing.
- Quarterly bonuses
