Job Summary
The primary objective of the Beverage Production Supervisor is to oversee the creation of premium products while ensuring team efficiency and safety. This position entails managing a small team and coordinating with supervisors to adhere to production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily audits of the Beverage Production team.
  • Supervise the team focused on mixing seltzer syrup concentrates.
  • Lead, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to the formulations team.
  • Develop Batch Production Records (BPRs) as necessary.
  • Coordinate the management of bench scales for executive review.
  • Monitor the shuttle request log and organize materials for weekly transport.
  • Collaborate with the Packaging Manager on formulation schedules and BPR calculations.
  • Facilitate morning alignment meetings for formulations.
  • Inspect, prepare, measure, and mix raw materials, ensuring compliance and traceability.
  • Guarantee that batch formulations are completed on time and meet specifications in a dynamic environment.
  • Work with Quality Control to maintain cGMP standards for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
  • Oversee the receipt and sampling of all raw materials for production, updating records as required.
  • Fulfill all training requirements as necessary.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment in accordance with company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Optimize daily operations to align with company objectives.
  • Encourage a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement within the formulations team.
  • Provide and receive feedback from team members.
  • Train employees to foster independence and competence.
  • Oversee the setup, operation, and disassembly of production equipment.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of experience in beverage or brewing formulations preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate goals and objectives clearly.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliability in attendance and task completion.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies.
  • Positive interaction with colleagues and management.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying errors.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
