Job Description: As an Account Manager at CMS Logistics, you will play a crucial role in retaining and nurturing relationships with both new and existing customers. Your primary goal will be to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, acting as the main point of contact for any inquiries or issues that may arise. You will work closely with various teams within the company to develop and implement strategies and practices that enhance customer loyalty and retention. Your ability to work collaboratively as a team player, while also taking initiative, will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve defined revenue and profit goals.
- Work closely with Sales to ensure execution of customer job orders and programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Encourage and assist with customer adoption and usage of our customer portal.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and collaborate with the sales team to secure new business.
- Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer loyalty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer requirements are understood and met.
- Provide regular reports on account status, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to provide strategic insights to the team.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in account management, preferably in the waste, environmental, or equipment rental industries.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong ability to multitask to ensure a variety of competing priorities are fulfilled as promised.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to overcome challenges.
- A team player with a proven track record of working collaboratively to achieve business goals.
- A college degree is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
