Job Summary:

The Community Relations Director is a key player in expanding our reach and impact within the community. This role demands a forward-thinking individual who embodies our core values, with a strategic mindset and exceptional relationship-building skills to enhance our presence and partnerships across various sectors.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Community Engagement: Spearhead initiatives to deepen relationships with political figures, educational institutions, health boards, law enforcement, and other key community stakeholders.
  • Advocacy and Policy: Advocate for supportive policies and funding in mental health and addiction recovery, collaborating with lobbyists and councils to align efforts with Team Recovery's mission.
  • Partnership Development: Forge meaningful partnerships with organizations including Rotary Clubs, Chambers of Commerce, and universities to expand our network and impact.
  • Public Relations: Craft and manage our public image, utilizing both traditional media and social platforms to highlight our successes and service offerings.
  • Insurance Collaboration: Work with insurance providers to broaden coverage options, making our services more accessible to those in need.
  • Event and Program Coordination: Lead the organization of community events and workshops that promote mental health awareness and addiction recovery support.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a track record of successful community engagement and partnership building, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate political and healthcare landscapes to advocate for change.
  • Strong communication skills, with a talent for inspiring others and articulating complex ideas clearly.
  • Resilience and adaptability, with a readiness to embrace challenges and drive innovation.
