Your Role:

As the Operations Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our organization, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be involved in a wide range of activities that are crucial to our mission:

  • Lead with Purpose: Head up our Children’s Holiday Fund Program, bringing smiles to kids’ faces while expertly managing volunteers.
  • Tech Support: Be the go-to person for all technology-related issues, working closely with our IT consultant to keep things running smoothly.
  • Safety First: Maintain a safe and secure environment for our employees, volunteers, and clients—because everyone deserves to feel safe.
  • Training & Development: Assist with staff training, helping our team grow their skills and stay aligned with our mission.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee repairs and maintenance, ensuring our shelter is always a welcoming space for those who need it most.
  • Efficiency Expert: Continuously look for ways to improve our operations, making sure we’re running as efficiently as possible to serve more people.

Office Administration (and More):

  • Hiring & Onboarding: Help bring in new talent and ensure they’re well-prepared to contribute to our mission.
  • Donations Management: Keep track of donations and manage them through our system, making sure every contribution is used effectively.
  • HRIS & Mail Management: Oversee our HR systems and ensure smooth handling of all mail—because every detail matters.
  • Additional Duties: Take on any other tasks that help us move our mission forward.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Certification: You’ll need to be CPR and First Aid certified within your first 6 months—we’ll help you get there.
  • Experience: A bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of operations management experience, ideally in a non-profit environment.
  • Passion & Adaptability: You’re driven by a desire to help others and have the flexibility to handle the diverse challenges that come with the job.
  • Positive Attitude: You see challenges as opportunities and bring a can-do spirit to everything you do.
