 Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Plainville, CT.

The candidate will be responsible for driving growth and fostering strategic partnerships, leveraging market insights and innovative strategies to expand the company’s client base and achieve revenue targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve at least 10% annual growth of new clients and business opportunities.
  • Focus on State and Local governmental initiatives.
  • Pursue new industrial customers’ opportunities utilizing a cross functional business approach.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure customer deliverables are achieved.
  • Understand market dynamics and competition as it relates to our business model.
  • Identify and research potential clients and competition.
  • Pursue leads, timelines and execution time to close.
  • Prepare growth reports while interpreting data and translating complex results into practical solutions and recommendations.
  • Generate & quantify warm leads to enhance and broaden business development growth goals.   
  • Support RFQ/P process and submissions.
  • Seek out organizations and trade show opportunities for participation.
  • Ability to work closely with Subject Matter Experts as well as LEA leadership.
  • Provide drive and a willingness to work cross functional to achieve a common goal.

Required Qualifications

  • BS / BA in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High energy & can-do attitude.
  • Creative, out of the box approach while advancing initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask well and work within a team environment.
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office Suite.  
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Able to push, pull, and place materials on level surfaces and overhead cabinets.
