Presbyterian Village North is hiring immediately for a full time Culinary Services Clerk in our Culinary Department.Shifts: Full Time 40 hours: Monday - Sunday primarily; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexibility to alternate 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, rotating weekends but may vary due to admissions, holidays or special functions.Wonderful environment and strong teammate relationships Affordable medical, dental, vision benefits and paid time off. 401K is available after your 1st year. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:\tModels a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers.\tEnsure resident/patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards.
\tMaintain good attendance record.
\tInputs menus from HC, SC, and Medicare and makes any changes into system.
\tManage the three squares menu system and all data entry for the system. Includes but is not limited to menu/therapeutic diet changes, special menus, client information, recipe entry.
\tChecks phone and retrieves messages; makes any immediate changes to meal plans if necessary.
\tMaintains the resident database for HC and AL resident populations.
\tMakes all indicated changes to the resident database based on Nursing, Therapy, Dietitian and/or Physician communication.
\tConducts monthly audits between Nursing Clinical Records program and Three Squares and reports on variances.
\tProvide support to the CDM to assure new admission residents/re-admission residents are seen within 72 hours.
\tAnswer phones promptly and relays messages to supervisors to ensure customer service.
\tSupport dietician with entry of weights.
\tAssumes other responsibilities as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\tHigh school graduate or GED.\tAbility to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
\tProficient data entry experience required.
\tProficient experience with Microsoft Office required.
\tCompetent experience with MealSuite software preferred.
\tExperience working in an office environment required.
\tAbility to perform Essential Duties.
\tGenuine caring for and interest in the care of mature adults, people with a handicap and hospice patients.
\tAbility to perform work tasks within the Physical Demand Requirements.
\tAbility to comply with the Resident Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
\tAbility to comply with organizational and departmental safety policies and procedures.
