About the Role:

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for making 100-150 calls per day from the office, advising customers on the benefits of solar panels, and qualifying homeowners for solar consultations. You will be the first point of contact for prospects and play a key role in ensuring an incredible first impression.

Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Specialist will handle inbound and outbound leads in a call-center environment, qualify leads over the phone, and schedule in-home visits for qualified leads. You will work closely with dealers, sales teams, and other departments to achieve high sales conversion rates and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ️ Handle inbound and outbound leads in a call-center environment, serving as the first point of contact for prospects.
  • Qualify leads by understanding the homeowner's energy costs and pre-screening the suitability of solar through satellite tools.
  • Schedule in-home appointments for qualified leads and work closely with dealers, salespeople, and sales managers.
  • Listen to homeowner interests and concerns, providing relevant feedback to guide them through the sales process.
  • Accurately capture all customer-related data into Salesforce (CRM) and work with lead transfer and appointment process issues.
  • Meet and exceed monthly quotas and service level agreements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be available to work outside standard business hours, including weekends, as per business needs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong work ethic, good business acumen, and above-average customer service orientation.
  • ️ Ability to work shifts during all coverage hours: 8am 10pm, seven days a week.
  • Inside sales experience within a sales quota environment preferred.
  • Strong project management and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and meet tight deadlines.
  • ️ Experience with Salesforce.com and strong computer skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional telephone and written communication skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong decision-making aptitude.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent new processes and updates and maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree and 2+ years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and related experience.
