We are urgently hiring a Customer Service/Technical Advisor for one of the area's premier fixture retailers. This role is integral to maintaining our promise of delivering superior customer service. Reporting directly to the Director of Customer Service, the Technical Advisor's mission is to provide top-tier service and support to a dynamic customer base. As the first point of contact, you will handle technical calls and emails, troubleshoot issues, and walk customers through installation processes for our extensive bathroom and kitchen product line. Your goal will be to build strong relationships with customers, earning their loyalty and trust. Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer technical calls and emails, actively listening to identify and resolve issues.
  • Provide detailed technical support to territory reps, homeowners, plumbers, installers, and showrooms.
  • Guide customers through the installation process, offering troubleshooting advice and solutions.
  • Input warranty and replacement orders, resolving customer inquiries and providing technical assistance.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Production, and Engineering teams to address and resolve inquiries.
  • Handle a range of customer issues, from product installation to resolving warranty concerns.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by the manager.

Personal Attributes/Skills Required:

  • Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to explain complex technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to resolve discrepancies.
  • Proficiency with miscellaneous office equipment (e.g., calculators, computers, copiers).

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED certificate required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with the installation of residential kitchen and bathroom plumbing fixtures.
  • At least six (6) months of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of residential building codes is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Experience working with a fully integrated ERP system is a plus.
  • Experience with a CRM/case management system is a plus.
