Job Overview

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a prominent provider of workforce management solutions, dedicated to linking skilled professionals with rewarding career paths. We are currently seeking a Customer Service/Technical Advisor for a leading fixture retailer in the region. This position is crucial for upholding our commitment to exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Director of Customer Service, the Technical Advisor's primary objective is to deliver outstanding service and support to a diverse customer base.

As the initial point of contact, you will manage technical inquiries via calls and emails, troubleshoot issues, and guide customers through the installation of our extensive range of bathroom and kitchen products. Your aim will be to cultivate strong relationships with customers, fostering their loyalty and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to technical inquiries through calls and emails, demonstrating active listening to identify and resolve concerns.
  • Offer comprehensive technical support to territory representatives, homeowners, plumbers, installers, and showrooms.
  • Assist customers throughout the installation process, providing troubleshooting guidance and solutions.
  • Process warranty and replacement orders, addressing customer inquiries and delivering technical assistance.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Production, and Engineering teams to resolve inquiries effectively.
  • Manage a variety of customer issues, from product installation to warranty resolution.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting abilities and a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and capability to resolve discrepancies.
  • Familiarity with various office equipment (e.g., calculators, computers, copiers).

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED certificate is required.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in the installation of residential kitchen and bathroom plumbing fixtures.
  • A minimum of six (6) months of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of residential building codes is advantageous.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with a fully integrated ERP system is beneficial.
  • Experience with a CRM/case management system is a plus.
