About the Role:Were on the hunt for a dynamic Civil Engineer PE to join the hive on behalf of our clients. This role is based in California and requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in land development. If you're passionate about civil engineering and have a knack for managing projects and teams, we want to meet you
Your Mission:- Supervise engineering designers, including daily assignments of work, review of work, and quality control.
- Manage project schedules and budgets.
- Prepare contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work Interact with clients and public-agency personnel to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Conduct preliminary engineering design studies, incorporating land use, zoning considerations, site constraints, and regulatory issues.
- Prepare and process tentative and final subdivision maps, public improvement plans, and development plans for commercial and residential developments.
- Prepare and review hydrologic studies and drainage reports.
- BSCE and California Registration as a Professional Engineer.
- Minimum of five (5) years of land development experience or the equivalent of ten (10) years of total work experience.
- Independent thought and decision-making abilities.
- Management and supervisory skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or MicroStation/Inroads CAD.
- Extensive experience and demonstrated engineering abilities in all aspects of land development projects.
- Must be a United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Effective oral and written communication skills Strong client and public-agency interaction skills Experience in preparing/processing public improvement plans and development plans
