As a Civil Engineering Associate, you will take on the responsibility of overseeing a variety of civil engineering initiatives within the Public Works domain. Your role will encompass project management support, the preparation of engineering documentation and assessments, the design of plans and specifications, as well as cost estimation and mentoring of junior staff, while also contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple civil engineering projects in the Public Works sector simultaneously
- Conduct independent engineering designs for projects of moderate complexity
- Assist senior engineers with budgeting, scheduling, and planning activities
- Implement quality assurance and control measures for all projects
You will engage with clients to ensure project quality and timely completion, acting as a technical resource for your team. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a California P.E. license, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering focused on Public Works, project management skills, and proficiency in essential engineering software along with the MS Office Suite.
