Job Description: The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and extensive knowledge of construction management processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Development:
  • Lead project planning sessions and develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Create detailed project timelines and schedules.
  • Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Prepare cost estimates and ensure accurate financial forecasting.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor project teams, including project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to track progress and address any issues.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and implement changes as needed to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Address any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders promptly.
  • Quality Control:
  • Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
  • Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • At least 5-8 years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
