HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The HR Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company's human resources policies and practices comply with all relevant laws and regulations. The HR Compliance Manager also oversees the implementation and maintenance of HR compliance programs.
Develop, update, and communicate HR compliance policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in HR compliance laws and regulations, and advise management on the impact and implications for the company
Conduct and support audits to identify and resolve HR compliance issues and risks
Internal support and liaison to accounting and security related audits involving HR data
Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partner and Employee Relations team on HR compliance matters, such as employee rights, labor relations, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, and disciplinary actions
Coordinate with Learning & Development and the company’s Compliance department to deliver HR compliance training and education programs to enhance awareness and understanding of HR compliance requirements and best practices
Monitor and report on HR compliance performance and metrics, and recommend corrective actions and improvements
IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, law, or related field
At least 5 years of experience in HR compliance, preferably in a managerial role
Strong knowledge of HR compliance laws and regulations, such as EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, OSHA, and HIPAA
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HCM/HRIS software
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
