Job Overview:

We are seeking a Commercial Analytics Manager to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of hands-on analytics experience. They will be a vital part of our team, collaborating closely with customer sales, solutions, and product marketing teams. Their primary strength lies in translating business opportunities and challenges into analytics projects, carrying out the analyses, and delivering insights to create positive business impact. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, strategic thinking, effective communication, and a results-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Performance Analytics: Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, measuring key metrics such as ROI, conversion rates, and customer engagement
  • Target List Analyses: Analyze client target lists to improve client QBRs and maximize the conversion rate of our sales proposals
  • Reporting: Generate and maintain detailed reports and dashboards that communicate key performance metrics, market insights, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Forecasting: Collaborate with the Director of Commercial Analytics to develop accurate sales forecasts and demand projections based on historical data and market trends.
  • Promotion Effectiveness Analysis: Assess the impact of promotions and promotions strategies on product sales and customer behavior
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success, to align analytics efforts with business objectives.
  • Data Modeling: Utilize advanced statistical and data modeling techniques to extract meaningful insights and support strategic planning
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing data quality checks and collaborating with the Data Engineering team as needed.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, helping them develop their analytical skills and contribute effectively to the team's objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical analytics or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including expertise in statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical data sources, including IMS, Symphony Health, or similar datasets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • A track record of delivering actionable insights that have driven business growth and decision-making in the pharmaceutical industry.
