Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

Location: San Diego, CA (LOCAL Only)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Offer daily technical assistance for network infrastructure, internal desktop systems, software, and hardware.
  • System Maintenance: Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues.
  • Maintenance Procedures: Develop and implement maintenance procedures for shared workstation software and hardware (OS, anti-virus, software updates, etc).

Additional Duties:

  • Manage passwords, data integrity, and file system security.
  • Suggest hardware and software solutions, including acquisitions and upgrades.
  • Contribute to IT and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide process feedback and improvement suggestions.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and troubleshooting hardware/software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Friendly and patient demeanor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve various technical issues.
  • Capable of working independently.
