- Establish strong relationships with key customer contacts to understand their expectations and win new business. Collaborate with the Global Account Director to develop and execute a regional strategy that promotes global partnership vision and showcases the company's core competencies.
- Align the regional budget and profitability objectives with the Global Account Director. Strengthen the collaborative relationship between the company and customer's creative teams.
- Proactively manage projects and identify new opportunities across multiple business units and regions. Build a strong level of trust and partnership with cross-functional teams (Perfumery, CFG, Marketing, R&D, CIMR, Purchasing, Operations) to provide high-quality creativity, innovation, and service.
- Work with the customer's purchasing organization to improve pricing and gross profit. Demonstrate strong administrative capabilities in managing pricing, fragrance standards, and reporting.
- Update regional supply chain agreements and collaborate with customer service and demand planning to ensure a best-in-class supply chain. Actively participate in the business S&OP process to meet customer expectations.
- Effectively communicate customer requirements and manage their expectations through internal channels. Stay up-to-date on the customer's brands, products, markets, and competitors to identify and guide new business opportunities.
- Support other regional account managers in winning global initiatives and meeting global sales targets. Lead all North American projects and leverage resources to win and grow sales. Manage expenses and CIMR budgets.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a related field like Business, Marketing, or similar.
- At least 5 years of sales experience in the fragrance or related industries.
- Minimum 2-3 years of project management experience.
- Strong sales and commercial background with deep industry knowledge.
- Commercially astute, able to build and manage customer portfolios.
- Proven success in leading teams and achieving results.
- Operationally savvy with strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
- Flexible communication skills to work across the organization.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and focus on quality delivery.
