Biosimilar Regional Account Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

The Biosimilar Regional Account Manager will be responsible for managing targeted customer accounts in the institutional, clinic, specialty wholesale distribution, specialty pharmacy, and market access classes of trade for the Teva product portfolio with an emphasis on biosimilars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain relationships with customer targets based on individual product strategies.
  • Implement product access strategies and tactics for all defined targets in collaboration with Marketing and other internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop opportunities with customer targets through data analysis and contract negotiations within the product strategies to meet and exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Ensure contract compliance to increase pull-through sales and report market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with various internal strategic partners such as Market Access, Trade, Marketing, Medical, Brand Team, Finance, National Accounts, and Pricing/Contract teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of professional experience in Account Management, Sales, or Marketing or 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Experience in buy & bill market preferably in biosimilar market preferred.
  • Experience working in a hospital or IDN market preferred.

Travel Requirements:

Up to 50% travel is required.

Physical Requirements:

Occasional sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment.

Credentialing Requirements:

Employees in customer-facing roles will be required to complete all Teva customer credentialing requirements for access to their customers within 60 days of their start date.

Compensation:

The annual starting salary for this position is between $75,000 – 155,000 annually.

This position also qualifies for participation in the company's sales incentive plan, which rewards employees based on their achievement of defined sales targets and adheres to the plan's established guidelines.
