Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill a Electronic Health Record (EHR) Support Analyst position. This is a full-time position in the Health Information Technology (HIT) Department based out of the Saint James Health Center located 55 East Julian Street, San Jose, CA 95112. The primary responsibility of the Electronic Health Records Support Analyst is to provide day to day support on all EHR applications or legacy systems, HIT Help Desk, and provide training on all HIT applications for both Primary Care and Specialty Behavioral Health. This role helps the HIT system application testing, training support, and implementation of system application upgrades.. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications of this position is listed below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of healthcare work and/or in Health Information Technology systems experience.
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to assume sole and independent responsibility for various assigned projects and tasks.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to significant matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with people with different backgrounds.
  • Strong business acumen and insight into clinical processes.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to focus on detail.
  • Strong ability to identify potential issues and participate in their resolution.
  • Ability to work on several projects and assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to complete projects with tight deadlines and time constraints.
  • Solid understanding of the implementation process and the various interdependencies between operations and technology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Compensation:

Compensation and level of position placement will be determined based on relevant experience and education.
