Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Specialist to join our team at Micro Precision. As an Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for calibrating a variety of test instruments and equipment, ensuring they meet the highest standards of precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate and maintain electrical equipment, including industrial and temperature equipment, to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Perform standards maintenance and checking of company standards, as assigned by the Lab Manager.
  • Collect and record calibration data, completing certifications and reporting out-of-tolerance conditions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest calibration techniques and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and expertise, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency in our calibration services.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers to resolve calibration issues and provide clear instructions on procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and dimensional equipment preferred
  • Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred
  • Basic mathematics understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and under the supervision of Senior Technicians
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
Work Environment

As an Electronics Specialist at Micro Precision, you will work in our local laboratory and at customer facilities, with up to 25% of your time spent on out-of-town, overnight travel.

Compensation

Salary range: $20 - $30 per hour, based on experience.
