We are looking to hire an ERP Coordinator in the City of Industry, CA This is a contract to hire opportunity to join our Production Team
Schedule: 10am-6pm (Training on 1st & 2nd shift)
Pay: $23-25/hour
Summary: Our Production ERP Coordinator role ensures that ingredients and packaging are in place to support production at our manufacturing facilities. You will analyze materials inventories, review requirements and, in partnership with the greater materials team, arrange timely delivery of materials. You will maintain appropriate inventories to meet production requirements and space constraints. You will work directly with our warehouses, and production team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of inbound materials, finish good production scanning, consume raw materials in our ERP system as well as troubleshoot any service or quality issues. This role will build and maintain strong working relationships with external business partners, as well as internal partners to ensure key objectives are met.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure materials are ordered within lead time to support production schedules, paying close attention to maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Efficient allocation of materials across all manufacturing locations in time to support production schedules.
- Utilize ERP systems to process transactions daily to execute packaging lines various transaction responsibilities.
- Minimize material write-offs and work with appropriate parties to ensure "First Expired, First Out" is observed and materials are used most efficiently.
- Establish improvements to the overall effectiveness of how materials are ordered, consume, produced, shipped, received, and maintained with an emphasis on cost savings.
- Communicate with appropriate parties to correct receipt errors..
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of prior experience in inventory management, MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) or related experience within a CPG company preferred
- Adept at planning and problem-solving, with ability to forecast, act quickly and accurately.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data to make sound decisions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Deadline oriented with the ability to organize assignments, set priorities, and carry out plans.
- Strong attention to detail, hard work ethic, ability to work well with others and highly organized.
- Experience working with an ERP system.
- Great technical skills with Excel and other MS Office products.
- Ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
- Willingness to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
