Purpose and Scope:

We’re seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in the DMV area who will be part of a fast-paced Talent Acquisition team at eSimplicity. We work with passionate individuals who are excited about helping bring top-notch talent into our team and making a direct impact in the lives of those team members. You will be responsible for the full-lifecycle recruitment process, focusing on cleared talent and ensuring HR administration support and service delivery in the areas of onboarding/off-boarding and recruiting metrics. If you are passionate about making an impact with modern technology, we’d love to hear from you Must be willing to attend local job fairs in the DMV area.


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the full life cycle recruitment process on high volume roles to identify and attract tech talent, including sourcing, scheduling, and extending verbal and written offers.
  • Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates based on technical requirements and target positions
  • Assist with the new hire onboarding process (certifications, background and reference checks)
  • Manage and maintain the HRIS and other human resource personnel records according to labor laws and best practices.
  • Perform routine tasks to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to new hire orientation, explanation of eSimplicity benefits, and employee engagement.
  • Attend recruiting events, including virtual and on-site cleared career fairs.
  • Develop, refine, and market job descriptions.
  • Recommend and suggest new methods and strategies related to talent and recruitment.
  • Participate in employee recognition events and activities
  • Promote a positive candidate experience by providing timely status updates throughout the entire recruiting process.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Communications or 4-7 years of experience recruiting for technical talent in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Must be local to the DMV area
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting cleared talent (secret, top secret, top secret with poly)
  • Extensive experience in recruiting for engineering positions
  • Strong experience recruiting for the GovCon industries
  • Familiarity with DoD terminology and disciplines, clearance types, and processing requirements
  • Strong knowledge of the IT talent market and ability to source and screen passive candidates
  • Experience in direct sourcing of IT candidates and attracting talent through platforms
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for managing, updating, and tracking candidates
  • Passion for recruiting and sourcing to stay abreast of best recruiting practices
  • Strong knowledge of common human resources practices, employment, and government compliance regulations
  • Ability to interact and interface effectively across the organization and with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Staffing experience a plus
  • Experience with Paylocity is highly desired
  • Extensive experience in Electrical Engineering positions


Working Environment:

eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by the manager.

Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be less than 25% per year.
