This is a remote position.

Job Overview:

Electrical / Controls Designers will work with customers, engineers, and technicians to generate drawing packages and schematics for control panels, networking diagrams, electrical one lines, P&IDs, and other packages. Ideal candidate will be able to apply independent thinking and knowledge for assisting with generating bills of material, specifying equipment, calculating heating / cooling loads, SCCR, and power load calculations. Designers may be asked to assist in the field with redlining drawings and evaluating as found equipment that they will convert into computer aided designs. Designers may also advance in their career to assist with SCADA and HMI Screen Development, PLC Programming, and field electrical support skills if desired.

Requirements
  • Drug Free work environment
  • Valid Driver's license and ability to travel without restrictions

  • Familiarity with industrial electrical brand such as Phoenix Contact, Rockwell Automation and others

Benefits This is a Contract to Full-time position offered with a higher base hourly rate to compensate for contractor procuring their own insurance and benefits.

Contractors are typically compensated including travel time, per diem. Most travel expenses covered by company.
