Job Summary

The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering team to design and develop custom equipment, including containment systems, material handling equipment, and small-scale process piping & equipment. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom equipment, including containment systems, material handling equipment, and small-scale process piping & equipment.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs meet project requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Prepare detailed design documentation, including fabrication drawings, equipment datasheets, and design record documents.
  • Establish and maintain file naming conventions and Windchill folders.
  • Conduct design activities following regimented quality assurance / quality control procedures.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or Technical College Certification required.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to acquire a security clearance.
  • Basic knowledge of or aptitude for Creo (Pro/E) and Windchill.
  • Understanding of GD&T (ASME).
  • Familiarity with other 3D systems (CATIA, SolidWorks), 2D software (AutoCAD preferred), and Autodesk Revit.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of software.
  • Demonstrated capability in the design of custom equipment and/or containment systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.
  • Ability to work in an environment with open discussions and visitors without getting distracted.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
