Position Summary:

The IT Applications Analyst is critical to supporting White Bird Clinic's IT infrastructure, ensuring the delivery of essential care to clients. This position focuses on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of White Bird Clinic's business and clinical applications. Responsibilities include researching, planning, implementing, and supporting business applications, improving workflows, implementing integrations, and contributing to the development of the overall IT strategy. This role requires balancing usability, cost, security, and compliance to implement technology solutions that meet core agency requirements. This position assists White Bird Clinic's EHR (Electronic Health Record) support staff to implement, support, and improve White Bird Clinic's clinical applications.

Position Responsibilities

Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues related to business and clinical applications.

Implement automations to IT, business, and clinical applications to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Lead Microsoft SharePoint administration and management

Assist EHR support staff with the implementation, support, and maintenance of our clinical applications including EHRs.

Monitor and optimize performance of WBC business and clinical applications.

Implement and manage critical technology projects, including planning, project management, and collaboration with IT staff and stakeholders.

Ensure system security and compliance with White Bird Clinic policies, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and other relevant security frameworks.

Assist IT with managing the Office 365 environment.

Recommend and implement modern technology solutions to advance agency goals.

Provide end user training.

Lead and/or participate in change management teams.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical systems and create instructional materials for end users.

Communicate effectively with IT project/organization stakeholders and ensure clear status updates and results dissemination.

All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting business or clinical applications.

Experience administering and implementing solutions in Microsoft SharePoint.

Advanced expertise in Microsoft 365 Suite.

Experience implementing workflow automations in Power Automate and Microsoft Forms.

Experience training users of all levels in the use of business and clinical applications.

Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document workflows, generate technical reference documentation, and produce end user instructions.

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people with differing levels of technological knowledge.

Collaborative style with the ability to work with IT staff and other White Bird Clinic programs to implement technology projects.


Preferred Qualifications

BA or BS degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field, or equivalent certification.

Clinical or revenue cycle management experience in the medical or behavioral health fields.

Four (4) or more years of experience as a business or clinical applications analyst.

One (1) or more years of IT project management experience.

Experience with building solutions in Power Apps or software development experience.

Experience supporting and implementing clinical workflows in clinical applications such as eClinicalWorks, Care Logic, or other EHRs.

Proficiency with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools and automating tasks using PowerShell.

Experience with enterprise accounting software such as Sage and third-party integrations.

Experience working with structured data sources, such as SQL, and data visualization platforms, such as Tableau Cloud.

Experience with Azure services development, deployment, and administration.

IT support within a healthcare environment and HIPAA compliance knowledge.

Experience managing contractors and vendors.

Compensation Details:

This is an exempt position with a target starting base compensation wage of $63k-80k, paid on a bi-weekly basis.

In addition, this position qualifies for a competitive health and welfare package and generous paid time off opportunities.
