Reports to: VPs of Channel Engagement & Marketing Analytics Supervisor

Overview

As a Channel Engagement Specialist, you will support and collaborate with The Channel Engagement Team to lead media and web tagging, tracking, analytics audits and implementation, data connections, reporting, and insight identification. You will be responsible for presenting your findings through dashboards and presentations to inform both internal teams and clients.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years in an advertising or marketing agency setting with proven experience in analytics and reporting

  • Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing (social and programmatic platforms among others), and various media channels

  • Experience creating compelling reports with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, PowerBI)

  • Ability to synchronize data from various channel platforms and formats

  • Extensive experience using online analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics (Adobe is a plus) to inform user behavior and traffic insights

  • Experience with tag deployment and troubleshooting (ie GTM, Adobe Tags)

  • Ability to translate and relay technical concepts, limitations, and requirements to stakeholders and comfortable demonstrating the solutions to peers

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fun, and entrepreneurial environment

  • Ability to manage multiple projects to achieve organized, on-time results.

  • Basic understanding of Data Stream and Storage set up, troubleshooting, maintenance


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze and draw insights from both a media and business performance purview

  • Identify trends, anomalies, and areas of improvement

  • Conduct A/B tests and other optimization experiments to improve campaign performance

  • Understand and speak to changes in algorithms, platform updates, and other factors that could impact campaign performance

  • Create compelling reports with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, PowerBI).

  • Synchronize data from various channel platforms and formats

  • Conduct analysis using online analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics (Adobe is a plus) to inform user behavior and traffic insights

  • Develop tagging (GTM, Adobe Tags) strategy and plan, implement and Q/A tags in collaboration with channel specialists.

  • Develop website analytics tagging strategy and plan, implement and Q/A tags in collaboration with content strategists and the development team

  • Assist in Data Stream and Storage setup, troubleshooting, maintenance

  • Maintain processes for collecting, cleaning, and storing web analytics, paid media delivery data, and client data.
