The Galactic Channel Sales Executive position might be right for you.

Close sales and win new business exclusively through our Managed Services Provider (MSP) channel. Identify, develop, and close new partner deals MSP prospects. Grow the Galactic community and have the opportunity to make a huge difference to transform MSPs to sell and educate with cybersecurity. The role contributes significantly to our high-performing sales team that is built on accountability, transparency, and collaboration.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive partner / client retention, renewal, growth, and able to upsell partners to other product offerings.
  • Support at-risk partners with proactive communication and enable them to succeed within the Galactic community.
  • Coach partners on how to market and communicate third party assessments to their clients, and coach partners on how to market and communicate their business, risk assessments, and penetration tests.
  • Deliver awareness of new product features to our partners and get them excited to sell and use our products.
  • Make outbound calls to current partners.
  • Make sure partner issues are handled (which may require bird-dogging them with our support team).
  • Upsell any product or service we provide that our partners are not yet taking advantage of.
  • Collaborate with finance team to address payment issues.
  • Collaborate with development team, design, support, and sales to deliver feedback on improving our product offerings.
  • Prospect engagement including travel to events, getting analysis completed, and follow up after assessment readout calls.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create better initiatives that facilitate partner sales.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a closing role in technology sales in a startup environment.
  • Strong negotiation experience.
  • Experience navigating of corporate procurement processes.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and quotas required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills required.
  • Demonstrated progressive experience with B2B sales.
  • Excellent team and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
  • Demonstrated revenue growth and channel experience.
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  • Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with C-level executives, and team members.
  • BS/BA in business, marketing, or related field required or equivalent work experience.
